So, I haven't written a blog in a few weeks...bad me!
I FINALLLY had my 6 week postpardom appointment yesterday...it was fantastic...lol. I am pretty well back to normal, and got some birth control back. I opted for the depo-prevara "shot". Which you can only be on for 2 years at a time, so when 2 years rolls around...I guess we'll be trying to have another baby!!
Speaking of the baby...Macy is getting so big! She finally outgrew the preemie clothes she's been wearing...now we've upgraded to "newborn". And She can wear some 3 months! I accidentally went to the Carter's outlet in Warrenton and went CRAZY!! I got a bunch of newborn and 3 months outfits for her!! She looks more and more like Aaron everyday...to me. Everyone else says shes a pretty good mix of the both of us...but I disagree. I said maybe it's because I look at Aaron more than I look at myself. I dont sit around on a regular basis and stare at my self in the mirror!! Macy started smiling at people when you talk to her. Its a milestone...in a babys world!! She has the most precious smile!!
Tina and I took Macy and Kaleb to get their picture taken last weekend! OMG it's soooo cute!! They are already Best Friends, and they can't even talk yet!! I'd post the pic, but unfortunately we do not have a scanner.
Actually we're lucky to have a computer...we had to get a new computer yesterday. I woke up Sunday morning and the old one was humming really loud and would not turn on...so, I called my dad, and he said the hard drive "crashed". Which is just as expensive to have fixed versus getting a whole new system. So, We got everything brand new...even a new printer...the one we had was rigged up with tape holding the ink cartridge in!!
We are going to get our Christmas tree this coming Saturday!! We go and cut it down every year. It's a tradition my family had when we all lived at home, that I've decided we need to carry on! Aaron gets kinda pissed that the needles fall, an have to be vaccumed everyday, but I just can't live without that "pine" smell around the holidays!!
I ordered our Christmas cards today. With this picture of Macy in her Christmas dress. Not to spoil all the fun of mailing them out...but you all will have your very own personal picture of the cutest baby ever!! We are all going as a "family" to get our holiday picture taken together at picture people...someday! When we can get Aaron off work in time to go!! I refuse to go on the weekends!!
I offically mailed out the invites to family for Macy's baptism. It is December 17. I got her 'gown' this weekend. It's sooooo precious! She'll be so holy!! We are having her baptized at my church, which is Lutheran. Since we did not get married Lutheran or Catholic, we've decied to raise the kids Lutheran. And Aaron clearly stated that they will NOT go to catholic school!! lol. Well, my sister is supposed to come home for this joyous occasion...but they are still waiting to see if Mike can take his Holiday leave early, since they'd becoming home anyways, for Christmas!! I can't wait to see them. I feel like Lori's missing out on the kids growing up! She's such a cool Aunt!
I am still so shocked that it is almost Thanksgiving! I waited SO long for October to get here; and now November is almost over!! I can't wait to eat pumpkin pie!! I have been craving it since like May..when I was pregnant!! I'm super excited!! We are spending Thanksgiving day with my family, and Aaron's on Sunday.
I have started my Christmas shopping. I figure if I start early I can stretch the "spending" out over a month or so!! Makes for more fun to just "go shopping" too!!
I got Macy her first pair of Nike shoes. They are still a little too big, but they are soooo cute!! She's so stylish!! We've decided to get her an excersaucer for Christmas!! And some other toys and clothes too of course...cuz I can't resist!
